The DataBee Set Designer
Who-Loads-What Dialog Box

The Who-Loads-What dialog box is used to determine how a specific table (called the Source Table) is related by rules to other tables in the Extraction Set. That is, given a specific table, the Who-Loads-What dialog box identifies the Parent and Child tables for that table.

The Who-Loads-What dialog box is very useful for exploring the relationships between the tables in an Extraction Set. Background information on DataBee Extraction Set rules can be found in the About DataBee Rules document and an alternative perspective on the table relationships created by the Extraction Set rules can be found using the Chain Finder tool.

The DataBee Who-Loads-What Dialog Box

The panel in the center of the dialog box lists all of the tables in those schemas that the Set Designer application currently knows about. It is in this area that the source table is selected. If the table required is not present in the list then probably the schema will need to be downloaded again. Use the "Get Schema Information from DB" button on the Rule Tools Tab to reload this information.

The panel on the left contains a list of all Parent tables for the Source Table and the panel on the right contains a list of all Child tables. The Parent and Child list boxes are populated immediately when the Source Table is selected in the central panel.

Selecting either a Parent or Child table will cause the number of the relevant rule to appear in the box below the panel. Also activated at that time are buttons which can drop, disable or view the rule. The <<< and >>> button can be used to move the selected Parent or Child Table into the center in order to follow the relationship chain.
