The Bulk Change Rule Block Form

Note: the Set Designer software is modal - it operates on both extraction and loader sets and the contents of this form will change as is appropriate to the type of set being configured. This help file primarily discusses changing the rule blocks in extraction sets. It is also possible to bulk change the rule block values for loader set rules - however this is rarely necessary.

This form provides a method of changing multiple rule blocks simultaneously - rather than selecting the rule block value on the Extraction Rules or Loader Rules tabs and manually changing each one.

The Rules Panel

The Rule Panel displays all stage 1 and stage 3 rules present in the extraction set. The new rule block value is set using the small panel on the right hand side of the form. The rules which should receive the new rule block are marked and the Change Rule Block is pressed. In the example above, rules 01-0034, 01-0035 and 01-0036 have been marked and they will receive a rule block of 22 once the Change Rule Block is pressed.

Enter the new rule block which all rules in the Rules Panel should receive.

This button will set all rules currently on display in the Rules Panel to the value set in the New Block for Rules field.
